SYNOPSIS

From "Beavis and Butt-head" creator Mike Judge and the former writers of “The Simpsons” and “Saturday Night Live”, comes the down-home hit that proves everything really is bigger in Texas – including the laughs!

KING OF THE HILL follows the day-to-day activities of Hank Hill, his family and their neighbors in a suburban Texas town.

Hank Hill is employed at Strickland Propane where his position as Assistant Manager earns him the respect of his pals.

Hank’s wife, Peggy, is a homemaker who often finds herself saying “I told you so” as she watches him do things the hard way. Additionally, she is the pillar of emotional support for their only son, Bobby. Although Bobby is Hank’s pride and joy, he is more often than not the unenthusiastic recipient of his father’s over-enthusiastic instructions on “how to be a man.”

Among Hank’s neighborhood buddies are the dim-witted, beer drinking Bill, Dale and Boomhauer. Bill, the smartest of the group, has been Hank’s friend since high school. Bill is a U.S. Army Sergeant who believes in actively exercising his military training, even on weekends.

Dale, a conspiracy theorist, is ironically ignorant of the fact that his wife has been having an affair since before their marriage began and that their son Johnny is most likely not his biological child. Boomhauer is just a simple guy who occasionally utters a few words of intelligible English amidst his usual stream of Southern gibberish. Hank is often found pontificating to his friends from atop his Deluxe Craftsman Riding Mower on the subject of sports, mechanics and barbecues.

Included in Hank’s household is his niece, Luanne, a teenager who lives with the Hills to escape her dysfunctional parents. Slightly dysfunctional herself, Luanne has a knack for casually leaving lacey undergarments around the house, which stirs up great paternal anxiety in Hank. Luanne has also been known to parade around the house scantily clad, which also stirs up great interest among the local military boys.

So pull up a chair and join Hank Hill, his family and his neighbors for a beer-drinking, BBQ-ing good time with the hilarious first season of KING OF THE HILL.
